A life built in quiet moments and unfamiliar places

I didn’t start traveling alone because I had a plan. I started because I needed space, something quieter, something that felt like mine.

What I found were slow mornings, long walks through unfamiliar streets, and evenings where I could sit with a drink and a book and feel completely at ease on my own.

I’ve learned I prefer it this way. Moving with intention, having a plan, but leaving enough room for something unexpected to unfold. Choosing places not for what I am supposed to see, but for how I want to feel while I am there.

I tend to build my trips carefully. The right hotel, a walkable neighborhood, a few places I want to return to. After that, I let the day take shape.

Along the way, I started paying attention to the details that make a place feel good. Where I stay, what I wear, what I bring with me, the spaces I return to, the small rituals that make everything feel a little more like my own.

This space is where I write about those experiences. Travel, books, what I pack, where I go, and the small, specific moments that stay with me longer than anything planned. You will also find the places, pieces, and recommendations I come back to, shared in a way that feels considered and personal.

It is less about escaping and more about returning to myself, again and again, in different places.

I am still in between things. This is where I make sense of it.
